Rappbodetalsperre
It is the highest dam in Germany and a gigantic structure that holds back enormous amounts of water. The Rappbode Dam is 106 meters high and is located directly at the entrance to the Bode Valley, where it has been protecting the towns in the valley from flooding for over 50 years.
